Mallory has a family full of  dental professionals including a sister and an Aunt who are Dental Hygenists and  her Step-mom, who is  a Dental Assistant.  Therefore, she  explains that she didn’t have to pursue dentistry “because dentistry pursued me!”  After being given an opportunity to train  as a Dental Assistant under a Prosthodontist who was a Major in the US Army, Mallory  never looked back.  As someone who  underwent extensive dental work as a child, she can empathize with patients who may be apprehensive or those who are fearful due to past tough experiences.  She’s motivated by the fact that she’s now in a position to change patient’s perspectives and offer them a truly supportive environment and wonderfully positive dental  experiences and outcomes.

About Dr. Bouvier’s Family Dental Practice

Dr. Bouvier created a vision of having an office that was warm and inviting, one that patients felt comfortable coming to and at the same time, knowing that they are receiving excellent care. The type of treatment and care that comes from someone that is passionate about the quality of workmanship that is created. I have the privilege of sitting next to Dr. B on a daily basis and assisting her in treating our patients like they are members of our own family.

What Do You Like To Do When You Are Away From Work?

Mallory has three young children ages two, six and eleven who keep her busy outside of the office.  She greatly enjoys being outdoors and engaging in kid friendly activities.  She especially loves to hike and spend time at the ocean doing all things beach related.

I strive to provide the patients with EXCELLENT customer service and meet them with a positive attitude.

Tammy got into dentistry because…she has a passion for educating and serving people. Tammyann’s approach to personal interaction and patient service is what makes her such a valuable asset to our team. She believes that ultimately, people best respond to people; Not technology. She states, “Our high-tech society provides people with too many ways to avoid real interaction. It ambushes us in a way where we no longer have to communicate with people in personable manner.  Her approach is the opposite.  Tammyann states, “I strive to go out of my way to make every patient feel special.  I communicate with them.  I take the time to get to know them.  And most of all, I respect them!”

What is it that drives you professionally?

I strive to provide the patients with EXCELLENT customer service and meet them with a positive attitude.  I am there to serve the patients.  It is all about them.  This desire is rooted in my upbringing.  I grew up in a family business, and I listened to my Mom on the telephone repeatedly.  She always maintained a positive attitude and strived for excellence in customer service.  Her sense of humor always brought out the best in people.  My Mom is my inspiration to be the best I can be every day.

What is one goal you’d like to meet?

I would like to become a Dental Health Advocate for the Elderly.

Dental Hygienist

Years in Dentistry:  3 years

Background & Certifications

  • A.S. Applied Science, Dental Hygiene, New Hampshire Technical College 2012

  • Advanced Certification in Local Anesthetic Administration, 2012

Heather’s interest in dentistry came from her desire to be in the healthcare field.  She initially studied nursing, but that did not suit her.  Heather went on to job shadow a dental hygienist as a prerequisite to attend the Allied School of Health at New Technical College.  It was then that she discovered her passion for dentistry.

The one thing Heather likes to share with her patients is her desire to make every patient feel as comfortable as possible.  She believes education is the key to a patient’s success, and each patient has different goals and needs.  For instance, some patients may seek a white smile, while others prefer functionality.  Dental health, much like many other things in life, is completely personal and the methods and recommendations made must be tailored within the motivational reach of each patient.  She appreciates the opportunity to build relationships with each of her patients.

What Do You Like To Do When You Are Away From Work?

When she is not working, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She likes to live a little by traveling, river kayaking, and playing with her two dogs.  She enjoys traveling abroad to visit her sister who is serving in a branch of the Unites States Military.  Heather truly has an adventurous spirit!

Polly enjoys helping patients understand the factors that contribute to their oral health and finding the right combination of home and professional care to achieve their best possible oral health.  Overall health and oral health are interrelated, so by helping patients achieve their optimal oral health, it is possible to improve their overall health in terms of function, comfort and appearance.

What is one goal you’d like to meet?

In addition to helping patients achieve their personal dental goals, my personal goal everyday is to comfort patients as they overcome dental anxieties, so that we establish a rapport that encourages them to look forward to their professional dental cleanings.
